8.5.18 – Clerks report –

·         GDPR – Clerk had prepared a number of policy documents for consideration by the PC, however it was felt that the requirements for a small Parish Council would be potentially very time consuming and put undue pressure of work on the clerk, it was therefore resolved that the clerk contact CALC for some definitive advice.

·         Email received regarding the potential cycle path, the member of the public will attend the next meeting with a fuller update, but the news that there is likely to be a cycle path was welcomed by the Parish Council.

10.5.18 – Parish Maintenance – As reported last month, no proper road closure notices were put out and there were two lots of work undertaken, one taken over a weekend with no notice and the second slightly earlier than the road sign indicated.

Grass Cutting – it was resolved that there is no need for additional expenditure on grass cutting at this time. It was further resolved that towards the end of the year there should be a review of what should be included in the grass cutting contract in preparation for going out to tender ready for the next growing season

11.5.18 – Non Traveller Update – None received from Cllr Graham – clerk instructed to write to him

12.5.18 – M Sport –Cllr Graham had sent in a copy of the response he received from Allerdale BC, it was felt that this was a disappointing reply from them and the clerk was instructed to reply to Cllr Graham asking that he escalate his request..

13.5.18 – CCF  Clerk shared the email sent from Cath Howard of CCF with a number of statements about what she had believed to have been agreed when she attended the meeting, however these were disputed by those in attendance at that meeting. It was resolved that the clerk should again write and confirm that it is expected that the papers will be made available prior to the next panel meeting on the 17th September in a timely manner so that they can be discussed at the meeting to be held on Thursday 13th September.

14.5.18 – Noted date and time of next meeting : 12th July 2018 at 7.30pm
