Buses run along the A594 Cockermouth to Maryport road and divert through villages ending in Maryport. The service number is 68 and timetable is here.

There are hardly any other useful bus services near Bridekirk Parish apart from Service 600 from Cockermouth to Carlisle which still runs along the A595 Cockermouth to Carlisle road. The timetable is here
